S.J. Here are some of the ideas that we supply regularly to pubs and bars across the northwest.

Quiz Nights - Available for Pubs, Bars and Social Clubs
Special price - new quiz nights just £65 a night for first six weeks
We have some of the most experienced quiz masters in the northwest who are capable of hosting a whole range of quiz nights including general knowledge, music quizzes, fun quizzes, themed quizzes and more. Extras can be added as fun which include Play Your Cards Right, Jackpot Prize Draw, Deal or No Deal and more.
Our quiz nights are generally structured along these lines,
General Knowledge Quiz
First part (approx 20 mins) - These sheets are given out before the main quiz starts
- 10 Picture questions
- Connections Quiz consisting of 9 questions and the connection
- A brain teaser
Second part (approx 60 mins) - The quiz master reads these questions out
- 10 General Knowledge questions
- 5 Sport questions
- 5 Geography questions
- 5 Music questions
- 5 History questions
- 5 Science questions
- 10 Music clip questions (name artist/song title)
Maximum total points for this quiz is 70 points.
Third part (approx 10 mins) - Draw a raffle ticket out to play either Jackpot Prize, Play Your Cards Right or Deal or No Deal.
The prize for the main quiz can be supplied by yourself or can be the money raised from the quiz entry price if you are charging to play. We usually recommend free entry to the quiz or a small entry fee of £1 per team or 50p per team member (limited to 6 per team). If you would like to supply the prize we usually recommend a food voucher or drinks voucher.
The prize for the Jackpot Prize Draw, Play Your Cards Right or Deal or No Deal is rolled over every week until somebody wins and comes from people buying raffle tickets to enter. This is a cash prize.
Usual timings for a quiz night would be,
- 8:15pm - Quiz Master arrives to set up
- 9:00pm - Quiz Master hands out quiz sheets, players start on first part
- 9:20pm - Quiz Master reads out questions for the second part
- 10:20pm - Quiz Master announces sheets to be swopped and then marked
- 10:30pm - Quiz Master announces winner
- 10:40pm - Third part of quiz (Jackpot Prize Draw, Play Your Cards Right or Deal or No Deal)
- 10:50pm - Finish and Quiz Master packs down

Disco Entertainment/Resident DJs
We have a huge portfolio of DJs that specialize in providing disco entertainment for pubs, town centre bars and nightclubs. A number of our DJs have held and continue to hold residencies in pubs and bars all over Lancashire and Manchester. We have general party DJs that can play music for anyone from 18 years of age up to 80 and from soul and motown to the chart topping hits of today. Also, we have a wide range of specialist DJs that are hugely talented at hosting 70s nights, 80s nights, 90s nights, Northern Soul and Motown nights, R&B nights, Funky House nights and more.
We are pleased to offer substantial discounts for block bookings if you book a resident DJ for the same night every week, for periods of 12 weeks or more.
Usual timings for Friday and Saturday DJ/Disco residencies are 8:00pm till 1:00am, however other times are catered for to meet your individual requirements.

Karaoke Nights/Karaoke DJs
Why not have a regular Karaoke night every week to attract the locals on them quieter nights of the week? Our Karaoke hosts have fantastic personalities and are up for a sing and a laugh as well. They can join in duets with your customers and take the mickey when they are really bad! We have a select number of DJs with big screen projectors to make your venue stand out from your competitors when it comes to hosting a karaoke night.
We are pleased to offer substantial discounts for block bookings if you book a resident Karaoke/DJ for the same night every week, for periods of 12 weeks or more.
Usual timings for Karaoke nights on a Friday/Saturday are 8:00pm till 1:00am. We also supply many pubs with karaoke nights Sunday through to Thursday and these timings are generally 8:00pm till 12:00 midnight. Other timings are available to meet your individual requirements.
We have DJs that can provide big screens for karaoke nights or if you have in-house screens they can use them.

Casino Nights
Why not try something a little different, our casinos go down really well as weddings, corporate events and private functions, so the pubs have started to jump on board! We are seeing more and more pubs and bars trying something a little different and going for these events. We can supply the croupiers, full sized casino tables including Blackjack, Roulette, Stud Poker and Wheel of Fortune and the casinos are generally for 2 hours playing time (usually 8:00pm-10:00pm with a disco to follow till 1:00am)

Race Nights
A long time favourite that is becoming ever more popular. At one point we nearly stopped supplying race nights, but recently as pubs have been trying to do something bigger and better than their competitors, we have seen this all time favourite re-appear. We have professional hosts that will set all the equipment up, host the event and advise your customers on how to bet and whats the best tactics. Why not ticket the event and perhaps try a race night in aid of a local Charity?
Package 1
- 1 member of staff to MC and Project the races
- 8 Filmed races
- 1 screen which is 6 foot by 5 foot
- Race cards and bunting
- Fun money and tote tickets
- Full PA system and music
- Race night package to include posters before the event to help you sell horses and jockeys
- This race night is around 2-3 hours
Prices from £395 for this package.
Extra member of staff priced at £200 to undertake the bettings with tote cards. Alternatively you can get a volunteer to do this part to keep costs down.
Extra packages include more races, more staff, fences, posts, fake grass, seating stands etc. Price on application.

Singers (Solo Artists & Duos)
We have a portfolio of over 100 pub/club singers, either solo artists or duos that are based all over the northwest. They can cover songs from the swingin' 50's and 60's up to the current day charts with everything in between. In their sets they can also sing motown, soul, northern soul, ballads, 70's, 80's and 90's songs. Solo Artists and Duos for pubs and clubs can perform 2 x 45mins sets or 3 x 30mins sets and can provide background music between their sets. General running timings for a Friday or Saturday night live singer in a pub would be;
- Singer arrives at 8:00pm to set up
- Singer will provide back ground music once set up from around 8:30pm
- The first live set would be approx 9:15pm till 10:00pm (45mins set)
- Background music whilst singer has a break until 10:30pm
- Second set of live music 10:30pm-11:15pm
- Background music to finish off till 11:30pm, singer packs down
Fees vary depending on singer but for Solo Artists on Fridays they range from £120 and Saturdays from £140. Duos on Fridays range from £225 and £250 on Saturdays.
